LOS ANGELES, July 23, 2007—LA 411 and New York 411, from Reed Business
Information, publishers of Daily Variety, announced today the appointment of
Steve Atinsky as senior editor of the 411 Publishing Group. Atinsky will be
responsible for print directories LA 411 and New York 411, as well as Web
properties www.LA411.com and www.NewYork411.com.
Atinsky brings tremendous experience to 411 and The Variety Group, most
recently with Nielsen Media as senior editor of the Hollywood Creative Directory
where he also oversaw production of the Hollywood Reporter Blu-Book. Previously,
he has been a writer and co-producer of television shows including network
sitcoms, specials, and children's shows. Atinsky is also the author of two books
for young readers, published by Random House, "Tyler on Prime Time" and "Trophy
Kid or How I Was Adopted by the Rich and Famous" slated for release in 2008.
