Connecticut Commission on Culture & Tourism Film Division
The Connecticut Film Division is a division of the Connecticut Commission on
Culture & Tourism, which promotes the state as a film location. Acting as a
liaison for film, commercial and television companies in and out of state, the
CCT Film Division works with state agencies, municipalities, private-property
owners and businesses to ensure successful productions.
The State of Connecticut offers fresh locations with diverse scenery and a
relatively mild climate with four full seasons, all within short driving
distances. Regional and local film support is available through the coordination
of the CCT Film Division with low or no-cost fees at many locations. Connecticut
is home to an experienced crew base, over 2000 entertainment and media
production companies with more than 20,000 employees, and state-of-the-art
production and post production facilities, all conveniently located near New
York City and Boston.
Recent productions in Connecticut include major feature films, numerous
television series and international shows as well as several independent
features and television commercials, and a number of documentary, animated,
educational, and corporate/industrial projects.

Division at (860) 571-7130 to expedite your permitting process.
