In addition to a wide array of screenings, a number of seminars and workshops will take place between November 7th – 11th. The American Society of Cinematographers, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, the Directors Guild of America, Dreamscape Studios, Entertainment Partners, Film Independent, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the Producers Guild of America, Women in Film, and the Writers Guild of America, West assisted IFTA in developing this year’s seminar and conference portion of the program. A sampling of the 16 scheduled events geared towards the production community includes a “Locations Expo” on 11/7, “Web Entrepreneurs: Imagination Meets Commerce” on 11/9, “Through Rose (and Aqua) Colored Glasses: The Future of 3D” on 11/10, and “New Technologies and Low Budget Films” on 11/11.
