Is digitally inserted product placement the new wave of integrated marketing?

Advertisers have begun digitally embedding their logos and products into films and TV shows, sometimes even after a show has already been aired. 411 Update talks to New Jersey-based Princeton Video Images about this new form of branded entertainment.

New Update Process for LA 411

Listees can self-update through new online system. “No changes” updates are done through a simple email.

Update season has begun for the 2008 edition of the LA 411 printed directory, and a new update system has been instated for making corrections to your listing.

If you haven’t already done so, log on to www.LA411.com and find your listing. If all is correct, then  send us an email at 411update@411publishing.com saying “no changes,” making sure to include the name that is on your listing. If you need a simple correction to your listing, e.g. a phone number change, then click “update listing” and follow the instructions therein.

Note that certain changes, such as those for descriptions, are subject to editorial review and revision. Not all requests will be accepted. Since the deadline has already passed, there is no guarantee that changes will be reflected in the print edition, but that changes will appear online upon approval.

This update pertains to your basic free listing information only. To make changes to any enhanced listing info or online ads, please notify your sales rep.

For more details, see the LA 411 FAQ.
