The Academy of Motion
Picture Arts and Sciences recently extended
invitations to 115 industry professionals, including 60 below the line, to join
the roster of voting members. These are people whom the Academy recognizes for
their significant contributions to motion pictures, including costume designers,
cinematographers, art directors and editors.
“These individuals are all exceptionally accomplished in
their respective fields,” said Academy President Sid Ganis. “We’re looking
forward to having them join the Academy’s ranks.”
