IFP Currently Accepting Applications for Independent Film Training Grant

Low-budget independent film projects can apply for the IFP Film Training Grant if they are willing to offer on-the-job training to inexperienced crew members. Participating production companies will receive a partial salary rebate for qualified trainees who are working on their first credited job.

Must be NYC-based film Budget less than $3 million Trainees must be NYC residents 60% shooting days should be in NYC Hire at least one “Made in NY” program-trained P.A. Contact IFP at least two weeks before principle photography Maximum award of $25,000 per film

Showtime Latino Filmmaker Showcase

Up-and-coming Latino filmmakers can submit their 15–30 minute short films to be considered for this showcase. Judges will select 3–5 features to run on the network during September, which is Hispanic Heritage Month. One winner will receive a $30,000 grant to produce a short that will premiere exclusively on Showtime.
