Wescam HD Conversion by Pictorvision

Pictorvision’s newest release for high definition cinematography is being touted as an economical alternative to investing a large sum into new HD equipment for aerial use. The Wescam HD Conversion Program essentially transforms the current Wescam equipment to HD, thus allowing a cost-effective solution for HD stabilization. Its open architecture also allows for flexibility and long-term upgradeability.

 

Cineflex V14 Series Gimbal withSony HDC-1500 HD Camera  

Cineflex has announced their recent HD gyro-stabililzed camera system will incorporate the new Sony HDC1500 high-def camera with its existing V14 Gimbal. The system will provide gyro-stablilization to HD shoots using the latest in Sony technology. The camera’s digital extender feature now combines with the V14’s optical zoom to extend focal lengths up to 168x at 2280mm without losing any light. This system should allow greater standoff distances, a plus for news gathering and law enforcement involved in coverage of confrontations.

Sneak Peak at the Upcoming Gyron High-Def 945

Gyron Systems International will soon release its newest gyrostabilized gimbaled camera system, the Gyron High-Def 945.

The new model will replace the Gyron High-Def 935 and features the Sony HDC-1500 camera with an Angenieux lens which will make it “more stream-lined and more state-of-the-art,” according to Richard Ivler, GSI’s director of marketing.

 

The Tyler Video Gimbal Isolator

Tyler Camera Systems’ Video Gimbal Isolator supports camera gimbals that weigh up to 105 pounds. Their Video Gimbal Isolator provides isolation attachment for various Tyler mounts including straight tube and squiggle mounts, as well as side video framework.
