Exhibitors from more than 30 different countries will
congregate at this year’s Association of Film Commissioners International Locations Tradeshow, April 12–13, at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium.
This year, tradeshow-goers can look forward to four
informational seminars. The lineup includes:
“Incentives On The Spot,” which will present scenarios and
case studies on how spot and commercial production can use incentives in the
United States
and abroad;
“Soft Money 3:
Accessing Film & TV Production Incentives Worldwide,” where a panel of
entertainment attorneys, producers and film commission reps will examine
film/video incentives worldwide, and discuss trends in production
incentives;
“New Media Perspectives,” which will examine the
collaboration opportunities available between producers and
AFCI members;
“Film Commission & Production Service Companies: Keys to
Successful Partnerships,” where film commission and production services company
representatives will talk about ways to work together.
Producers, directors, production managers, writers, location
managers and anyone who needs information about shooting on-location are welcome
to attend this year’s events.
