American Film Institute has announced its selections for AFI
Awards 2006, which will honor 10 selections each of motion picture and
television programs. AFI Awards is
unique in that it celebrates the collaborative effort of all involved in the
production, including those in front of the camera as well as below-the-line
crew. Selections include "Borat" and "Little Miss Sunshine" for features and "Dexter," "Battlestar Gallactica" and "South
Park" for TV. The celebration will
take place on Friday, Jan. 12 at the Four Seasons Hotel in
