Center is said to become the largest in the country

Westside
Pavilion and Landmark Theatres have announced their intention to create a new
center for independent film in Los
Angeles.
In addition to being a 12-screen multiplex,
Landmark
Film
Center
at Westside Pavilion will collaborate with the local film industry and film
schools to promote education and opportunities for those pursuing careers in
filmmaking. The planned three story building, replete with restaurants and a
wine bar, is being billed as the largest independent film center in the
country
