NYC Touts Incentive
Success
The City of New York Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre and
Broadcasting says that its “Made in NY” incentive program has significantly
increased production – even luring projects that are set outside the state.
Calling it a “banner year,” the office says that 2005 saw 600 million in new
production business for the city. These productions include “The Departed,”
which is set in Boston, and “Fast Track,” which takes place in Ohio.
