Call for Nominations: New York 411 Advisory Board

Dear 411 Community Member,

May 10, 2005 marked the inaugural meeting of the LA 411 Advisory Board. The meeting was an overwhelming success and we were able to garner a great deal of extremely valuable information from the LA 411 Advisory Board members—not only about our books, but also about trends in the Southern Californian production community.

We want to repeat the success of our LA meeting and begin the process of creating a New York 411 Advisory Board.  In order to create the board, we need the community’s help.

We are asking our 411 Update readers to nominate members of the New York production community. Nominees should be experts in their particular production field and therefore uniquely qualified to share their opinions with us about the way we present our directory and how they feel the New York production landscape is evolving.

When the board members have been chosen, we will announce the date of the New York City meeting, which will occur sometime in the fall.

Final say on any category, section, general index, description change or amendment is always at the discretion of the editorial staff. Please note that due to issues of bias, you cannot nominate or vote for yourself.

In order to nominate your candidate, please click here.

Thank you so much for your time. We look forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards,

Miranda Taylor
