SMPTE New York Editing Showcase

Back by popular demand, it's the SMPTE New York Section's Editing Showcase and Exhibition! Come join your colleagues in a concentrated segment of post editing, professionals, users, and buyers. Geared to everyone from CEOs and business owners, vice presidents, directors of engineering, and consultants, to editors, product managers, and sales managers. If you're in editing and post production, and didn't get a chance to go to NAB this year, or even if you did get to NAB, this event is not to be missed! IFP/LA Master Workshop: Introduction to Final Cut Pro

IFP/LA is offering the opportunity to take an introductory course in Final Cut Pro. The course will include both demonstration and hands-on practice, with time for experimentation with sample material. Topics will include project management, edit sync material, trim sequences, slip and slide editing, audio editing, title creation, and final output to tape or video file. It is required that all participants have basic Macintosh skills to take this intensive course. Reservations are required - seating extremely limited.
