Audio Description for the Visually Impaired

Good News for IATSE Local 100 Members

After a 72 to 6 vote, a contract between the Yankee Entertainment and Sports Network and the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees has been ratified. The contract will ensure that television broadcasting remote and studio Local 100 members will gain immediate pension, health and welfare and annuity benefits.

“In a time of increasing anti-union and anti-worker sentiment, the IATSE continues to tackle these sports broadcasting companies one-by-one. We are proving to the workers and to the employers that we will prevail and protect our jobs and our members,” International President Thomas C. Short said in a statement released by IATSE .
