A New Generation of Advertising Creativity Recognized by the AICP

Instead of asking professional freelance creative directors or advertising agencies to create a campaign to promote the 2005 AICP show, The Association of Independent Commercial Producers have called upon the talents of Virginia Commonwealth University Adcenter students instead.

The AICP’s goal with this shift is to infuse the promotion of the Show’s “Call for Entries” and ticket sales with what AICP president and CEO Matt Miller calls “a fresh young approach.”

The students chosen to take on this exciting task hail from New York, Virginia, Massachusetts and Ohio and will be under the direction of Associate Professors of Art Directing and Copywriting, Cabell Harris and Coz Cotzias.

This year’s show gala and premiere returns to MOMA for the first time in four years now that expansion construction is complete.
